Overview
Measles outbreaks happen in many parts of the world, including Europe. Travellers who are unsure whether they have had 2 doses of MMR are often recommended to catch up before travel.
Who should consider it

Two doses, at least 4 weeks apart, gives lifelong protection in most people.
Around 99% effective after 2 doses.
Possible side effects
Mild fever, rash or swollen glands can occur 7–10 days after vaccination.
